Head Coach
The Head Coach of a Little League team is responsible for providing a positive, safe, and fun experience for young athletes while teaching the fundamentals of baseball or softball. This role includes planning and leading practices, managing game-day activities, and promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among players. The Head Coach serves as a mentor and role model, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants, communicating regularly with players, parents, and league officials, and collaborating with the Team Parent to support team logistics and activities. A successful Head Coach combines knowledge of the game with strong leadership and communication skills, creating an inclusive environment where all players can learn, grow, and enjoy the sport.

Assistant Coach
The Assistant Coach of a Little League team supports the Head Coach in providing a safe, fun, and positive experience for young athletes. Responsibilities include helping plan and lead practices, assisting with game-day activities, and reinforcing fundamental baseball or softball skills while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. The Assistant Coach also serves as a role model for players, communicates with parents and league officials as needed, and helps coordinate team logistics alongside the Head Coach and Team Parent. Additionally, the Assistant Coach is expected to step in and fulfill the duties of the Head Coach whenever the Head Coach is unavailable, ensuring continuity and support for the team throughout the season.
